The ”Bite of the Apple“ show is an engaging collage of songs and narrative which thoroughly charmed our audience. The versatility and polish of the performers´ presentation was impressive. From high opera to intimate singer-songwriter material, the arias and songs were each beautifully sung and idiomatic to their genres. Jessica Medoff Bunchman's lovely soprano was supported and enhanced by the unifying force of Michael Bunchman's collaborative piano score and performance, creating a narrative that made the evening more than a singing recital.
